Keynote Addresses and Presentations:

MSc. Revaz Turmanidze, Msc. Iryna Hliebova, and Msc. Mohammad Aldabbas shared their post-master’s degree experiences. Lastly, we were fortunate to have Katrina Caikovska as a skilled moderator who expertly guided the webinar’s dynamics until its conclusion

Revaz shared insights into his current role as a Junior Medical Physicist at a hospital and OPR in Georgia. He expressed his optimism for the narrowing of knowledge gaps among professionals in the field of medical physics, aiming for continuous growth. His analysis of the legal and operational landscape in Georgia, following the completion of his master’s degree in medical physics, was particularly insightful. The analysis highlighted an encouraging advancement in the situation, marked by a substantial 36.6% increase in linac equipment and a notable rise in personnel within the domain.

Mohammad gave us information about his country, Jordan, how the country is legally in terms of medical physics, highlighting that although progress is being made in legislation, they face the same challenges as other developing countries. He commented that currently, at the master’s level, Jordan has a program developed by the Jordan University in Amman in 2007. Mohammad is currently working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and he also explained to us what are some of the roles he plays as Senior medical physicist in diagnosis and nuclear medicine.
